HEY! I’m Cristy… I’m writing this from my home office in Sydney, Australia where I grew up & where I live today with my husband & our 3 children.

I’ve spent over 20 years in Primary School teaching, with the last 5 years in Assistant Principal roles, which I have loved and I now work from home in the Online Business space. I’ve landed in an industry that I discovered through my teaching career - Personal Development, but these days I’m fully immersed in a sector that is growing at a rapid rate & I’m loving it.

I’m excited to share a bit more about my change of direction with you & see if we have a potential fit to work alongside each other.

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE:  

My teaching career has had it’s highs & lows, that’s for sure. My passion for Education led me down that path while my children were young but after many years of red tape, managing staff & facing budget cuts, I felt that my main purpose was far from what I was facing on a daily basis. The teaching side of my career had got lost in the technicalities & I was exhausted.

When I was not so gently nudged by the Universe with some health issues, that was the turning point for me to find a way to bring my passion back to the forefront of the work that I was doing. I knew that wasn’t going to happen in the mainstream education system so I starting looking around for other options…

THE BUSINESS THAT WAS A BUST:

Naturally, I had an interest in pursuing the Health & Wellness sector, but I quickly discovered that so did almost every other burnt out worker on the planet! I gave that business a good shot but it just didn’t tick the boxes for longevity & growth, beyond talking to my friends & family.

I’m grateful that I learned a lot & I made wonderful improvements to my lifestyle but it was never enough to break free financially & I went back to teaching.

THE EXPERIENCES THAT LED ME TO SUCCESS:

Amid a stack of Personal Development books & my limited business experience, I had my eyes opened to the possibilities of what I could create, when the right solution presented itself. Firstly, I knew I wanted to have a global audience, I also wanted to be able bring back my love of seeing others grow and I was excited about the opportunity of having all limitations removed - to really write my own rules so to speak.

This is where my vision started to formulate for how I could put my skill set to use, along with focusing on what I was truly passionate about.

When I saw the little ad for the business that I run now, I hesitated at first because I didn’t quite believe I would come across the solution so quickly, but I wasn’t going to let it pass me by. Perhaps this is how you’ve found me! I’m proud that I partner with a Global Company that has not only allowed me to enjoy some travel again (haven’t we missed that in recent years!) but to also reach others in many countries through our online marketing training. As a new person I was coached & supported every step of the way and now I run my own race with how I schedule out my workload.
